Added Flickr Links

Hello folks,

I've added links to the Flickr albums. Those links are now in the side menu of the blog and can be reached by clicking on the image.

Currently I only have a link to Sarah's Flickr and my own because I do not know the URL of anyone else's Flickr photostream. I can add others as I learn the addresses.

I tried to choose photos that are pleasing and had a good shape to fit into the side menu. Hopefully others agree with my choices.

You can change and add similar links easily:
  1. Go to the "Layout" area of the administrator panel.
  2. You'll see a representation of the side menu. Click "Add Page Element" from the mock side menu
  3. Find "Picture" and click the blue "Add To Blog" button.
  4. Find the web address of the photo that you want to use and paste that into the appropriate box
  5. Copy the link to the photostream and paste that link into the "Link" box.
  6. The "Title" appears above the image.
  7. The "Caption" appears below the image. eg; "^ Sarah's Flickr Page" is the Caption
There is a "slide show" widget available as well, but obtaining a Flickr username is a pain in the rear. There also does not seem to be a way to designate a particular photostream, so it would display many unrelated images. That's why I went with the static image links. Feel free to change this as seen fit, of course! ;D

We can also add a link list to our Facebook pages or other social web resources to aid in keeping in contact with one another. I don't know if anyone will be interested in such a feature or if others would feel as though such a list would fit the theme of this blog, so I haven't added it. :)

I'm trying to add features that are related, useful, and make this resource easier for everyone to use, but in no way do I want to seem as though I'm being bossy or such. I've been doing the blogging thing for quite awhile, so tinkering around is very much a habit for me.

Later folks,
~a fairly tired Steph

That's totally awsome, like I said, I don't really know anything about this kind of stuff, so you are more than welcome to do anything you want. I think the page looks fantastic - Thanks a lot. It looks like you should have been the one to do this!!
